La Mera Burger- “Best burger in Antigua”
Having been in the food and beverage industry for the last 15 years, Juan Carlos Alvarado decided it was time for a change. Since a young boy he has always loved burgers, but he felt that burgers in Antigua were not that special. His wish was to serve the “best burger in Antigua”.
Knowing that there was more to it than just flipping burgers, Juan Carlos spent months sourcing the finest imported beef that he could grind, working on sauces and combinations until he, his family and friends knew that he had the best burger in Antigua. Now you can try the burgers for yourself at La Mera Burger.
You can choose between nine gourmet burgers. Try the Western Burger-A double burger oozing with whiskey sauce, maple syrup, bacon, onion, coffee, and cheese. Sweet yet satisfying. The Super Cheeseburger-A double burger bacon, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, and a cheese dip is the most popular.
Whilst Juan Carlos’s favourite is the Hawaiian Burger- A double burger with cheddar cheese, a fresh avocado salsa verde, and a pineapple sauce. All the burgers come with a portion of fries but for something deliciously different, order a side of onion rings; crisp batter sprinkled with an onion, garlic, and oregano seasoning. And if you’re tired of burgers, then consider the succulent chicken wings- Bathed in BBQ sauce, it comes with fries, and a side of both a ranch and avocado sauce.
You’ll find La Mera Burger Antigua at the Central Comercial Panorama. It may not be the most romantic place to dine out, but you know, get over it as it’s well worth a visit! And if you can’t a takeaway service is available.
