Having fallen in love with Antigua the renowned US chef and serial restaurant operator envisioned an atmospheric French Bistro in the heart of Antigua!
With its open kitchen, inviting bar and comfortable seating Bistrot Cinq oozes style. It’s perfect for a romantic dinner but also for a night out with friends or just a cocktail at the bar. Candle lighting, jazz and blues in the background and the buzz from the crowd set the scene every evening.
Most of the sourcing comes from local ingredients of mainly organic farms.
Some of the stand out entree dishes include Escargot with herbs, fennel seeds and butter, French onion soup, as well as Mussels! For mains, steak and frites as well as the outstanding steak tartare deserve to be mentioned. The risotto with duck breast is a must! Checkout the blackboard specials that change every Friday. This is a great way to taste the skills of Executive Chef, Mario Godinez, who has worked in restaurants internationally and had a stint at the world famous Noma.
The wine list at Bistrot Cinq is pretty impressive-The owners take pride in importing boutique wines from Europe and south America. But let’s not forget Absinthe. Bistrot Cinq has the largest selection in Central America where you can explore the mysteries of “The Green Fairy.”
