About the Cooperative:

It is a long name for a cooperative of women, but it matches the history of these women who have come together to find a way to be self-sufficient, to provide for themselves and theirs.

The cooperative was formed during the long hours waiting at the edge of the road for a permit to continue searching for relatives who are still buried in San Miguel Los Lotes. At first glance nobody would suspect the tragedy that they have lived, the sadness that they experience daily or the strength that each of their small bodies has.

Creating Products:

After the original idea started shaping up, it was quite easy to find those who would like to support us to create products that could be sold and even try to export when they are ready. Step by step the necessary paperwork has been gathered, doors have been knocked on to get proper training and finally there have been meetings with an advertising agency that is going to help them promote a flagship product that we believe will be great.

I should tell you what that product is but we do not have the patent yet.

How to help them:

Everything has gone well so far, they are excited and we could not ask for more. Well, we are going to ask for more help because we need an office or a production center, but we are going little by little. You have to be patient. You have to be delicate because these women have experienced a lot in a very short time and nothing is written in stone about their recovery. We are going to need a lot of things to make this work, but the main one is support.

We need the support of people who want to see them reborn, literally, from the ashes.
