Their Story:
CASA TROCCOLI, located in the 3rd. Calle Poniente and corner of the 5th. Avenida Norte in La Antigua, on the street known as La Calle del Arco, is one of the oldest houses in the city. It was built approximately 450 years ago and yet its walls keep their original structure and the history of the first merchants who lived in this colonial city.
It was in 1898 that Giussepe Troccoli, of Italian origin, established the business he called Almacén Troccoli which operated in the frontal part of the house. The place was recognized by the sale of wines, liqueurs, cigars, sweets and fine fabrics brought from different parts of Europe. People used to call the store, the ultramarine shop.
This beautiful colonial house boasts on its inside wide corridors, a stable, a beautiful main courtyard decorated with wild flowers, two terraces for elegant weddings and celebrations and a colonial pila where people used to do laundry, after all, it was the home of the Troccoli family.

Nowadays, you can buy the best wines and liquors while appreciating the old-fashioned spaces, with the same furniture and shelves in which, for many years, the exhibition of select products has been carried out. To complement the experience of the visit to the house, you can taste delicious Italian dishes from El Sabor del Tiempo Restaurant.
