Summer Hills-Bonczyk at Meson Panza Verde
Summer Hills-Bonczyk is an independent artist based in Minneapolis, USA. UU. Her creative practice includes sculpture, ceramics, dance, video and performance. Summer’s work has been widely exhibited in the United States and internationally, including the Northern Clay Center in Minneapolis. She has received several grants and awards for her work of art, including the Jerome Foundation Grant, which financed trips to northern India and the Lake Atitlan area of Guatemala to investigate ancient ceremonial caves and the phenomenology of empty interior space.
In addition to her work as a studio artist, Summer is also an advanced yoga and meditation teacher, trained in the Kripalu Yoga lineage. With her family of yoga teachers, Summer leads transformative yoga retreats, which led her to Antigua, Guatemala and Mesón Panza Verde in 2012. Currently, Summer is an associate professor of Fine Arts at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota , United States, where he supervises the Department of Ceramic Arts.
The show by Summer Hills-Bonczyk at Meson Panza Verde titled ‘Soft Edges’ has its opening on January the 8th between 5PM-7PM. Come to the wine bar and see beautiful art. There will be a 20% discount on food at the Panza Verde restaurant for participants in the art gallery.
The show will run every day until the 9th of February. It should not be missed.
