The Begining
La Antigua Galería de Arte was founded in 1996 to promote and sell artworks produced by Guatemalan, Central American and Latin American artists.
It is also a center for the exposure of artworks in this beautiful region marked by historical and social events that have influenced the production of the local artists making them unique to the collector.
Art in the Gallery
The work they present is mainly figurative in both painting and sculpture, however, for several years they have been incorporating Abstract Art as one more genre that has several representatives among artists of the country.
They represent more than 25 renowned artists exclusively and more than 25 young and upcoming artists.
