Festival of Corn

“With great excitement, El Comalote invites you to the 1st Festival “Somos de Maíz” ( Festival of corn) in Antigua Guatemala.
It will be a special day where you can eat delicious traditional dishes by 20 women from the region. Pepián, Chunto Broth, Piloyada, Corn Appetizers, Tamales, Atoles, very cold chichas and much more!

You can join workshops, conversations and talks about corn, its history, uses, importance and future.

You will find handicraft sales, live music and of course marimba!

We invite you to the Festival of Corn on August 13 from 8 AM to 5 PM – at Casa Convento Concepción

No entrance charge.
